STUART GAIR CASE FILE
1. Introduction: This is an investigative article I recently wrote for this site which will also be published in an edited form on other sites online and in print in forthcoming months. It chronicles the reality behind Stuart Gair's murder conviction being recently quashed. Many press reports at the time of this verdict only mentioned the 'non-disclosure' of evidence issue - in fact, there was a mountain of different, and more disturbing, evidence indicating Gair's innocence and his status as a victim of a frame-up by Strathclyde Police. It's a deeply worrying case whose central issues have never been addressed or publicised until now.
